Ingrid Skoog, MSW, LMSW

Therapist

Ingrid is accepting new clients with immediate openings.

Everyone has a unique life experience with ups, downs, and in-betweens. I am committed to assisting you or your children to better understand how to experience and work through your emotions, thoughts, and feelings with more presence, acceptance, and grace. I use evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and other exposure-based therapies.

Before starting in private practice, I worked for 18-months at an inpatient treatment center. I facilitated mental health groups on inpatient and outpatient units focusing on emotional regulation and life skills for children and adolescents. I have a history of working with children and families with high needs and adolesents suffering from acute psychiatric challenges.

Whether you have been to therapy in the past or are newly seeking it out, together we will develop a plan that aligns with your values and prioritizes where you want to go.

Feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if I am a good fit for you.

Specialty Areas: children 5+, families, early adulthood, and adults. Areas of interest include: anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, family conflict, PTSD, ADHD, and autism.

Ingrid is working under the supervision of Shannon Evers (LISW), Megan Wych (LMHC), and Addison Malinski (LISW).

Ingrid accepts Welmark/BCBS, UnitedHealthCare, AETNA, and self pay.

Ingrid’s office is in the e5w location.
