Ingrid Skoog, MSW, LMSW
Therapist
Ingrid is accepting new clients with immediate openings.
Everyone has a unique life experience with ups, downs, and in-betweens. I am committed to assisting you or your children to better understand how to experience and work through your emotions, thoughts, and feelings with more presence, acceptance, and grace. I use evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, and Exposure and Response Prevention therapies.
Before starting in private practice, I worked in inpatient treatment, facilitating groups on emotional regulation and life skills for children and adolescents. I have a history of working with children and families with high needs and adolescents suffering from acute psychiatric challenges.
Whether you have been to therapy in the past or are newly seeking it out, together we will develop a plan that aligns with your values and prioritizes where you want to go, applying evidence-based interventions to treat your unique symptoms and preferences.
Feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if I am a good fit for you.
Clinical Areas of Interest: children 5+, families, early adulthood, and adults. Areas of interest include: anxiety, OCD, depression, suicidal ideation, trauma, family conflict, PTSD, ADHD, and autism.
